This Privacy Policy explains how FEM Software Inc. (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (“the App”).
We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.

The App stores the following information locally on your device:
• Time entries
• Client and project information
• Hourly rates, taxes, and invoicing details
• Notes for time entries

2.2 Location (Geo) Data — Only If You Enable It
If you grant the App permission to access your location, we may collect:
• Precise or approximate location at the moment a time entry starts or stops
• Location snapshots used for features such as place tagging or automatic start/stop (if enabled)

Important details:
• Geo data is stored only on your device.
• Geo data is never transmitted, never uploaded to a server, and never shared unless you manually export a report containing it.
• You may disable location access at any time through your device’s system settings.

2.3 Automatically Stored Local Data
The App may store the following information on-device only:
• Diagnostic logs
• UI configuration data
• Cached values to improve performance

Again, none of this leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

All collected data is used exclusively to operate the App and enhance your personal time-tracking experience.

We use your data to:
• Record and manage time entries
• Associate entries with clients, projects, or locations
• Generate reports, invoices, and summaries
• Enable optional features such as location-based tagging

We do not:
• Sell your data
• Share your data with third parties (except for billing processors)
• Transfer your data off your device

If you purchase a subscription or product through the App:
• Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store).
• We do not receive or store your credit card or billing details.
• We may store a local flag to reflect your subscription status for unlocking premium features.

You can:
• Enable or disable Location Services at any time
• Delete or edit any entry, client, or project
• Reset all data within the App (irreversibly)
• Export your data manually
• Remove the App (this deletes all local data)

Because your data stays on the device, deleting the App erases everything unless you export it first.

• App sandboxing
• OS-level encryption where available

Your personal device security (passcode, backups) directly affects data safety.
